For the 15th anniversary of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana this exhibition was created together with Eurasian Academy of Arts and with support of the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation. Two thematic expositions were devised, showcasing two contemporary kazakhstani artists: Leyla Mahat and Kanat Nurtazin.

Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic Kazakhstan, expressed in his speech that through the dramatic developments of our epoch the Astana Congress has become the most important institution for global “spiritual diplomacy”. Guided by similar considerations the artists and gallery owners of KULANSHI are engaged in the important process of organizing and holding events that are aimed at spiritual enlightenment of the population and the strengthening of interfaith harmony.

Supported by

Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, International Center for World Cultures and Religions, Government program “Ruhani zhangyru”
